This website (the “Site”) is operated and owned by the Medical Council of Canada (“MCC”). The information, documents, services, and products available on this Site are subject to the terms, conditions, and disclaimers set forth below (the “Terms of Use”). The MCC is committed to providing on-line privacy and security to users of its Site and takes precautions to protect our users’ information. Sensitive information provided on any form, such as a credit card number, is encrypted during the transmission and maintained in a secure database. Visitor Information

Our collection, use and disclosure of personal information is done in accordance with our Privacy Policy which is available at mcc.ca. We collect, retain and use visitor statistical information only where we reasonably believe that it would be allowed by law and useful in providing you with products and services. Information generated by visitors to our Site is maintained in log files that use IP addresses to track such things as pages accessed and actions taken. This information is maintained in statistical and aggregate formats to assess users’ priorities and interests, and is not linked to personally identifiable information.

Personal Identifier, Candidate Code and Password

Any candidate code, password, or other personal identification number assigned to an individual by MCC is an important piece of information and could be linked to personal information. Individuals are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their candidate code, password, or other personal identification number at all times, and must notify MCC immediately of any need to change or deactivate such code or number.

These Terms of Use and your use of the Site shall be governed by the laws in force in the Province of Ontario, Canada without regard to conflict of laws. You irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Province of Ontario. If any provision hereof is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, it shall be severed and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force without being invalidated in any way.
